Bainbridge

It has been a long time. I haven't blogged in a while, and I haven't
been to Bainbridge Island to see my aunt and uncle since last
semester. Now I find myself on a bus out to the city with some lame
(;D) Rod Stewart cover playing over and over in my head, so I find
myself in the mood to reflect. That is, to reflect as well as one can
via a phone that has been made harder to type on by the bus's handling
of an uneven highway.

Crossing the bridge over lake Washington is always interesting. On one
side of the bridge (the right, if you're approaching Seattle) the lake
is quiet and calm, and on the other side the lake is full of small
waves, as though in preparation for a storm. It fascinates me how,
under perfectly standard Washingtonian weather conditions, this lake
can appear so simple and serene if one were to look at it from one
direction, and yet so worried and full of anxiety if one were to look
the other way.

That's all the time I have for now. More later =]
