per Joel family Christmas tradition, it was off to the barn to shovel
horse shit for an hour. What a way to end a beautiful morning ^^
actually, it *was* a pretty nice day outside..
The Christmas joy, however, was far from over..

C'est la vie a la DP ;P
On the other side of things, I'm really excited to have discovered
this blogging by email feature. It's a big deal to me because it means
that I finally have a stable, persistent way to blog with both photos
and text (though apparently not both at the same time. Grrr..) via my
iPhone, a device that has, until now, been relegated to the more
common rolls of mp3 player and cell phone.
Additionally, I have just set up my Gmail account on this thing to
work through IMAP instead of POP. I definitely see myself using the
email features of this device much more in the near future.
This is all really exciting for me. I've longed for a way to be able
to post what I'm experiencing at any given time to my blog regardless
of my proximity to a computer, and now I have one! Although it's true
that there are certain aspects of the iPhone that I loathe (closed
architecture, limited codec support etc.), it's hard to stay angry at
a device that converges so many technologies and will easily hide in
one's pocket.
